1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using CalmKiddo (“Platform”, “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. By joining the waitlist, using the demo, or accessing any part of CalmKiddo, you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement.

2. Description of Service

CalmKiddo is an AI-powered behavioral research platform that enables researchers, analysts, and organizations to:

• Design and submit behavioral experiments.
• Generate synthetic research personas from demographic and psychographic models.
• Run AI-orchestrated behavioral simulations.
• Generate publication-ready research reports and analyses.

The Platform is currently in pre-launch. Demo content and waitlist access are provided for informational purposes. All data displayed in the demo is simulated.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
• Engage in research that targets minors or vulnerable populations without appropriate ethical approval.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Platform.
• Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional material.
• Use the Platform to generate content intended to deceive, manipulate, or harm individuals or groups.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform.

4. Intellectual Property

The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of CalmKiddo and its licensors.

Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of CalmKiddo.

Research outputs, reports, and data generated through your use of the Platform belong to you, subject to the limitations set out in your subscription plan and these Terms.

5. User Accounts

When you create an account, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All activities that occur under your account.
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

6. Research Ethics

CalmKiddo is designed to facilitate responsible, ethical research. By using the Platform, you agree to:

• Conduct research in accordance with applicable ethical guidelines and institutional review board (IRB) requirements where applicable.
• Accurately represent the nature of synthetic outputs in any publications or communications.
• Not use synthetic persona outputs as substitutes for real human participants without appropriate disclosure.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

CalmKiddo does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Results generated by the Platform are based on AI models and should be interpreted with appropriate scientific scrutiny.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CalmKiddo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notifying registered users by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
